I have interviewed Western University professors, created biographies of 18 esteemed inductees to The Canadian Medical Hall of Fame and written successful federal and provincial grant applications for not-for-profit organizations. You can find my work in many publications, such as the Western Alumni Gazette, Understorey Magazine, YES Mag: The Science Magazine for Adventurous Minds, and Eatdrink Magazine.

Over the past 15 years, I have prepared articles, reports, proposals, executive summaries and biographies for national not-for-profit organizations, small to medium-sized businesses and award-winning magazines.
  • Written four consecutively successful Canada Summer Jobs grant applications
  • Assembled a winning national nomination package
  • Managed a Networks of Centres of Excellence (NCE) report on a $13 million grant
  • Edited a successful Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) grant application
  • Written biographies of Faculty of Science faculty for Western University
  • Prepared 18 inductee biographies for The Canadian Medical Hall of Fame
  • Written a feature article for a children’s award-winning science magazine
  • Contributed a short story to a book honouring Canada's sesquicentennial
Becky’s science background along with her natural talents proved to be invaluable assets to tackle the job at hand. She had efficiently completed the five biographical sketches well ahead of schedule. Throughout her stint with Western Science, she was enthusiastic, hard-working, conscientious, courteous and empathetic.
